Tutor Bio

I’m a secondary school teacher with experience teaching Irish, Music and Religion, as well as providing Irish grinds and teaching adult Irish classes. I’ve worked with students of different ages and abilities, helping them prepare for Junior and Leaving Certificate exams and build confidence in the language. My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, breaking topics down into manageable steps and making sure they feel comfortable asking questions. In Irish, I focus on oral practice, clear grammar explanations and exam technique. Through both classroom teaching and tutoring, I’ve learned how important it is to create a relaxed environment where students feel supported and can recognise their own progress.
