Tutor Bio

Having completed my Leaving Certificate in 2026 and now studying Economics and Finance at University College Dublin (UCD), I have a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential. In the Leaving Certificate, I achieved seven H1 grades, including H1s in both Higher Level Mathematics and Economics. My dedication to these subjects was also recognised through the Mathematics and Economics prizes awarded to me in both 5th and 6th year. Having recently gone through the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate myself, I understand the challenges students face and the most effective strategies for succeeding in today’s exam system. Alongside my studies at UCD, I currently provide mathematics grinds to both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students, offering lessons online and in person. This experience has allowed me to work with students of all ability levels, from those looking to build confidence and improve their understanding of core concepts to high-achieving students aiming for top grades. I believe that every student can excel in mathematics when complex topics are explained clearly and tailored to their individual learning style. My teaching approach focuses on developing a deep understanding of concepts, improving problem-solving skills, and building exam technique through worked examples and past-paper practice. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
