Tutor Bio

Hi my name is John and I am a 20 year old second year student in Commerce in UCD. I sat the Leaving Cert in 2025 and achieved a H1 in Accounting Business and Maths and a distinction in Junior Cert Maths. I then continued studying Commerce in UCD achieving an A in my accounting module and A+ in my maths module. I will be doing grinds to try make concepts and aspects that are notoriously ‘difficult’’ seem more accessible and approachable for students. Maths and Accounting are subjects that are feared and misunderstood. However, they are quite predictable and manageable when looking at previous exam papers . The main part of the business course that is disliked is the ABQ, but I have a formula for success which allowed me to get 80/80 in this section. My aim is to provide confidence to students so they can achieve what they deserve, and to be strategic and therefore minimise irrelevant learning!
