Tutor Bio

Experienced Secondary School French Teacher | Junior Cycle & Leaving Certificate I am an experienced secondary school French teacher with a passion for helping students improve their confidence, develop their language skills and achieve their academic goals. Alongside my teaching experience, I have extensive experience providing one-to-one and small-group French tuition to students preparing for both the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate examinations. I work with students of all abilities, from those who need support with the basics to students aiming for the highest grades. As a current French teacher in an Irish secondary school, I have a strong understanding of the Irish curriculum, examination requirements and the skills students need to succeed. My lessons are carefully tailored to each student, focusing on their individual strengths and areas for improvement. Depending on the student’s needs, lessons can focus on: * 📚 Grammar and vocabulary * 🗣️ Leaving Certificate French Oral preparation * ✍️ Written expression and essay writing * 📖 Reading and listening comprehension * 🎯 Exam technique and time management * 📈 Improving grades and confidence * 🇫🇷 Building fluency and communication skills I believe that effective grinds should be structured, engaging and adapted to the individual student. My goal is not simply to help students prepare for an exam, but to give them the confidence and skills to approach French independently and achieve their best possible result. Whether you are struggling with French, looking to improve their grade or aiming for a H1/O1, I can provide focused and personalised support throughout the school year and in the lead-up to the exams.
