Alice O'Sullivan

Tutor Bio

Hi! My name is Alice and I am a third year student in Trinity College Dublin studying Earth system science. Regarding the Irish classes... I went to two boarding schools in the Gaeltacht (one in 'Corca Dhuibhne' and one in 'An Rinn') growing up providing me with a natural fluency and proficiency in the language from being around native speakers for 6 years. I will be providing my students with my own H1 Irish notes as we work through the classes. I will be focusing heavily on the oral as well as it is 40% of the final grade. I will emphasise speaking only in Irish throughout the lessons and will encourage the student to respond through Irish as much as possible. Regarding the geography classes ... I achieved a H1 grade in geography leaving certificate and always had a flair for geography and our natural world. I want to teach students who are struggling with geography to hopefully help them to see their love for geography and the physical world. I am willing to adapt my lessons to your specific learning requirements. Learning from exam papers and using real life practices is usually my go to learning style. I have many notes from the leaving cert and university level I will be able to share with you. My lessons are usually 1hr long. However we can adapt and change times and prices at your ease. Lessons are open to anyone! I look forward to hearing from you !
