GrindsWorld Tutor: AvaMay Falconer

My name is Ava. I am a Masters student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Galway. I have always enjoyed maths and science throughout school. I sat my Leaving Certificate in 2019 where I received a H2 in Maths and H3s in Applied Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I have been doing grinds since 2017 in JC Maths & Science and later in LC Maths. I have a key interest in education especially supporting women in STEM.

The subjects I have available currently are JC Maths and Science each being €20 per hour and LC Math and Physics being €25 per hour (€40 for 2 hours in one week). I'm very happy to have a chat with the student before they commit to grinds, to see what their goals are in the subject and for them to see how I plan on helping them to achieve their goals. I can work both in person or online.
