I am a qualified post-primary teacher of Irish and Spanish with extensive experience teaching languages at Junior and Senior Cycle level, as well as providing private tuition and exam preparation.

As a native Irish speaker from the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht, I have a lifelong connection with the Irish language and culture. I also hold a First Class Honours BA in World Languages (Irish & Spanish) and a First Class Honours MA in Scríobh agus Cumarsáid na Gaeilge.

I currently teach Irish and Spanish at post-primary level and have previously taught Leaving Certificate Spanish, Irish in immersive Gaeltacht settings, and students through one-to-one grinds. I have experience preparing students for written, aural and oral examinations and can tailor lessons to individual ability, confidence and goals.

My lessons are friendly, structured and encouraging, with a strong emphasis on building confidence and making language learning manageable and enjoyable. Whether a student needs ongoing support, help with a particular area, or focused Junior or Leaving Certificate exam preparation, I adapt each lesson to their individual needs.
