GrindsWorld Tutor: Mary Therese Lenihan

My names Mary Lenihan.

I have recently graduated with a Bachelors in Science from Trinity College Dublin. 

I am currently working giving one-to-one lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

I love teaching and I think I am a good tutor, I believe in teaching in a way that suits the students way of thinking, whether that's visual, auditory, through story-telling, through questions and answers; Anything goes in the world of one-to-one tutoring!

What to expect from my lessons: I am someone who believes in having a positive attitude when it comes to challenging subjects. My main priority is that my students feel supported, encouraged and empowered to tackle their subject.

I always set up a 'portal' google document, which I check throughout the week and students can leave questions or queries for the next lesson. In this documents I also leave resources, lesson summaries, diagrams and anything else that is suited to the learning style of the student!
