GrindsWorld Tutor: Grace Kieran

Hello! My name is Grace. I am a primary school teacher from Monaghan, with 3 years of teaching experience. I completed a Bachelor of Education degree in Dublin City University. During my 4 years studying I completed many teaching placements which has provided me with experience of working with all levels/ages across the Curriculum.
After I qualified I stayed in Dublin and completed my Droichead along with 3 years teaching in a DEIS school. This school has a big emphasis on Literacy and so I have learned brilliant approaches to helping students to develop reading, writing and oral language skills. I have also completed July provision summer camps. One of these camps were completed in a special education setting.
My approach to teaching is patient, creative and clear communication to help my students to reach their goal and work to the best of their ability.
