Tutor Bio
I teach Mathematics, Irish, French & Accounting all up to and including Leaving Cert Higher Level.
Students are welcome to whatsapp me at during the week if they have difficulties with school homework.
I have 30 years of teaching experience and tutoring. Students are invited to decide on the topic/ topics to be covered in each class. The classes are tailored to identify and address the challenging areas for the individual student.
The languages are taught with equal emphasis on the written, spoken and listening.
I address the individual needs of students. I tutor Hibernian students who are doing Primary School Teaching Training and who are experiencing difficulty with the Irish Modules. I prepare students for the Oral Irish Examinations and Interviews. I focus the students on the examination papers so that they can competently complete the paper.
I have a BCL degree and an LLM and I prepare students for FE1 examinations.

    Kevin Harkin Síle is an excellent, dedicated teacher who is 100% dedicated to her students. She has helped me through Leaving Cert maths, and I recommend her to anyone who is struggling with that subject.

    Geraldine Guiry Sile is working with my daughter, a 5th year student, who wants to do higher Irish for her leaving certificate. The grind takes place online, one on one. Sile is always on time, doesn't cancel classes and is an excellent tutor. My daughter is finding these grinds very helpful and finds Sile is excellent at explaining and provides the exam focus that my daughter wants.

    Róisín Cowley I have been going to Síle for maths and Irish grinds for the past 3 months now, and would highly recommend her. In maths she focuses on tackling areas I haven’t covered yet in school which is very effective in reducing my difficulty with these topics when we eventually do come to them in school. She is very good at clearly explaining complicated topics and distilling them into manageable lessons. In Irish she is great for giving me extra vocabulary, phrases, sample answers, oral exam help, and grammar tips that you just don’t get in school to help push my grade into the next grade bracket.

    Alex Hoare Síle is a wonderful teacher, well worth the time and money spent. I started off the year failing accounting for my leaving cert and am now excelling and I cannot say that is due to me alone, I would 100% recommend.

    Michelle Our daught is in Junior Cert year and has been taking grinds in both Irish and maths from Sile for a few months now. The changes in her confidence alone, never mind her understanding and abilities, are fantastic. We couldn't recommend Sile highly enough!

    Korina I was looking for a Maths tutor for my daughter for a quite long time and I think that I have just found the one. Síle is a very experienced and well organised tutor. She is always prepared, punctual and I believe giving her best to the student. Moving at really fast pace however making sure at the same time that the material was digested and understood. My daughter is really happy with her tutor, feeling more confident after each session. I cannot recommend Sile highly enough.

    Theresa Donnelly Síle has helped my son gain the confidence to take on maths at higher level for his JC. He has found her to be patient and easy to understand. Síle explains everything transparently and will keep at a problem until he has the full understanding of the answer. I would highly recommend Síle for maths grinds.
