GrindsWorld Tutor: Katie Connolly

Hi there, my name is Katie.
I offer Irish grinds for both Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate students, as well as preparation for college oral Irish entry exams, including TEG, Hibernia, and other university interviews. I also provide Junior Certificate level Geography grinds.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with a Master’s degree in Primary Education and over four years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and online. I also spent a year teaching English as an additional language to children aged 5–12. Prior to that, I completed a BA Honours degree in Nua-Ghaeilge (Irish) and Geography. I have experience teaching in a Gaelscoil and have provided online Irish grinds to students up to Leaving Certificate level, as well as those preparing for TEG oral exams and Hibernia and other university entry interviews.

I bring a fun, enthusiastic, and engaging approach to my teaching, and I thrive on building a strong rapport with my students. I continually reflect on my practice to create the most effective and supportive learning environment possible.
