Tutor Bio
Hi, my name is Rory.
I offer grinds in Maths for Junior Cycle. I sat my Leaving Cert in 2022 and got 96% in Maths, and 91% in Physics.
These can be done online in one to one sessions, and I am open to doing group sessions at a reduced fee.
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering in University Of Galway, allowing me to further develop my maths and problem solving skills.
I have over 2 years’ experience developing young people in different programs, as a swimming teacher, a mentor in the Gaeltacht, guiding younger pupils to a 5th place finish at a World Finals, and I am currently the Novice Head Coach at my university boat club.
These different experiences have allowed me to perfect my teaching and mentoring strategies.
My teaching strategy/aims philosophy involves taking time to understand your approach to maths and how you work. I can then adapt to suit your needs and develop your skills to a Distinction level.
