I am a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Galway with a proven track record in Maths and Physics. Having achieved 543 points in the Leaving Certificate (2022), including H2 grades in both subjects, I bring both subject expertise and first-hand knowledge of the exam system.
My tutoring is results-driven and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, while also developing the problem-solving techniques and exam strategies needed to maximise performance.
Each lesson is structured around clear explanations, practical examples, and targeted past paper practice, ensuring students gain the skills and confidence to approach exams with precision and efficiency.
Rates: €40 per 1-hour one-to-one session. Discounted rates available for group sessions.

- Jun 2025 Brenda McCallig Joseph gave physics grinds and maths grinds to my son in Leaving Cert year. Joseph was very accommodating in the timing of the grinds. He really helped my son to get a better understanding of the subjects and raised his grades in both subjects. He was always available, very approachable and willing to help with tricky topics. I would highly recommend Joseph Martin for any maths or physics students.
