Hi! I’m a native Spanish teacher from Chile, and I’ve been helping students prepare for the Leaving Cert with great results.

I work with students of all levels and backgrounds, focusing on the areas you want to improve or need the most support with. We cover all parts of the exam—reading comprehension, listening, oral practice, role-plays, and vocabulary—or concentrate on the ones you feel you need the most help with. I put special emphasis on the opinion piece, guiding students on how to structure their writing and create meaningful content that can really boost their grades.

My approach is practical and supportive. I use exercises to help you remember verbs more easily, expand your vocabulary, and pick up useful Spanish expressions. We also go over exam strategies and time-saving techniques so you feel confident and prepared on the day. Past papers and a Leaving Cert textbook are part of my classes, but I always adapt to where you need the most support.

Patience is at the heart of my teaching style—every question is welcome, and if we need to revisit a topic, we’ll go back over it until it makes sense. My goal is not just to improve your Spanish, but also to build your confidence so you can walk into the exam ready to do your best.

I hold a First-Class Honours BA in English Studies and Languages from Technological University Dublin, trained as a Spanish teacher (ELE) at Instituto Cervantes in Dublin, and I’m also certified as a Spanish as a Second Language teacher by Miguel de Cervantes University.
