Tutor Bio
Hi! I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor offering 1-to-1 or small group grinds classes in Junior and Leaving Cert French, Computer Science and Japanese.
I have a BA in Computer Science, Linguistics and French from Trinity College, as well as a First-Class MSc in Artificial Intelligence (Advanced Computer Science) from UCD. Additionally, I have C2 fluency in French and am working towards JLPT N2 in Japanese.
I have several years experience teaching and tutoring young people of various ages and abilities, both in the classroom and through individual grinds. My approach towards lessons include:
- Improving by the first week - together we'll find the areas that need the most improvement and develop a structured plan to improve those areas!
- Clear explanations and structured notes which explain the reasons behind language and programming rules instead of just rote memorising them
- Exam-focused strategies for maximising marks in state exams
- Dedicated Oral and Aural exam preperation for both French and Japanese
