GrindsWorld Tutor: Owen Scanlon

As an experienced military technical instructor, specialising in mathematics and physics, my speciality is conveying difficult concepts in an engaging and clear way. I am highly qualified in several technical areas, holding a degree in Physics, a degree in Mathematics, a Masters in IT, a Masters in Statistics and (almost) a Masters in Mathematical Physics. I have a strong personal interest in maths in particular, and love engaging students with the material. Explaining things intuitively is key to understanding, and this is difficult to achieve in a classroom setting at school. Everyone understands abstract concepts differently and my goal is to identify what works for each individual.

I only have limited slots available for the coming year 2019-2020 and will operate on a first come basis. My preference is to travel to your house etc, as we have two young children at home. €40 per hour, and I am willing to consider weekends if required.
