Hi, 10 years experienced, and qualified Accounting and Business Secondary School Teacher working in a very high achieving academic school in Dublin, and a Qualified ACCA Accountant. Available at student home or online.

Strong knowledge of JC and LC marking schemes in Accounting and Business.
Focus on understanding, reasoning and logic rather than rote learning for Accounting in particular, with a target of jumping up at least 1 grade for every student.
Students can tell me in advance, if desired, what topic they want covered.
Focus on Exam questions, exam answering, exam structure, and exam timing.

I have experience teaching in Ireland at JC/LC and the UK at GCSE/ALevels. I am also a qualified ACCA accounting graduate and hold a first class honours degree in Business Studies. I have previously worked in Investment Financial Services and Accounting for 7 years. I have also taught Maths at Junior Cert level for a number of years. Other subjects taught are Economics, Digital Literacy, Special Needs Education in both mainstream secondary schools and Special Schools. I also coach hurling and Gaelic Football in schools and have a good rapport with all students.
