Tutor Bio
I was born in Rome and I have been living in Dublin since 2008. I earned a Master's Degree in Science of Education from the University of Florence and then I specialized in Didactics of Italian Language for Foreigners. I have been teaching Italian for many years and I worked in the field of Linguistics, Language and Literature Education, Translation and Interpretation.
I teach in different settings and to different people but my favourite part of my job is teaching young people and supporting them during their learning process. Italian is not an easy language (I know!) but I always make sure my classes are fun and interesting too.
In my spare time I practice Meditation and Yoga, I cook delicious vegetarian dishes and I am passionate about storytelling performances from all over the world.

- Dec 2023 Aurora Batori Debora is an amazing teacher. Always finds new ways to make her classes interactive and fun. I would 100% recommend her to student eager to learn Italian.
- Dec 2023 Aurora I would definitely recommend Deborah for anyone taking Italian for Leaving Certificate. She helps with the reading, writing, listening and speaking of the language. She is always well-prepared for classes and is willing to take on students of any level in Italian. In school they just give you lists of grammar and vocabulary to learn, leaving you unprepared for oral examinations and speaking with natives. Deborah helps bridge this gap with various speaking exercises to help you communicate more comfortably in the language. She has helped me a lot and I feel like I have been learning twice as fast since i started her lessons.
