I am a fully qualified and REGISTERED teacher of English to hons leaving cert. I can provide my registration number on request. I have been giving grinds for the past twenty years to students of varying ability. I like to teach in a relaxed and stress free environment and I will only move at the students pace. I am also available as a home tutor for those on the home tutor grant scheme. Please note the free first online lesson offered is not a full length lesson it is designed to see if the online methodology suits the student and to test that their computer set up is compatable with the teachers.

- Mar 2023 Éabha Flanagan Anne is very helpful and explains everything perfectly. She gives excellent examples to simplify complex issues and does questions in the class to make sure you understand the topic. Very patient and helpful. Highly recommend.
- Mar 2023 Claire We were searching for a long time for a tutor for my 17yo son for English leaving cert when we found Anne. From the beginning she put us both at ease regarding covering course work and she works really well with my son, encouraging him with his learning. She's supportive and gently encourages him to do more than he thinks he is capable of. I'd highly recommend her and she also understands well the variety of learning styles needed for a neurodiverse brain.
- Mar 2023 Jane Anne has been a tutor to two of my children for the past five years in total. She is kind, friendly and gentle BUT she gets results. Her approach is to teach in a relaxed atmosphere where the student feels safe to attempt an answer knowing that if it's not correct they won't be ridiculed but corrected and put on the right path. As she says ...if your not relaxed and happy you won't learn! She's so right.
