GrindsWorld Tutor: Joe Gilbride

I am a third year theoretical physics student in Trinity College Dublin currently spending the year studying abroad in UCLA. I strive for academic excellence in all I do and I currently have an average of a high first class honours in my degree. I was the recipient of the Arthur Lyster maths prize, have represented Ireland at the International Junior Science Olympiad, been highly commended in the Irish Chemistry Olympiad and got 8 H1s in my leaving cert. I know what it takes to achieve academic excellence at all levels and have had previous experience tutoring second and third level mathematics and physics students. I believe that the leaving cert should be targeted methodically with a combination of a strong base of knowledge, thorough understanding of the fundamentals and regular practice of past exam paper and mock questions.
