Guten Tag !
I am a qualified and highly experienced language teacher available for online grinds for all levels. As a native French speaker, I enjoy the challenges and rewards of teaching both the language and the culture of my country to students. I also enjoy teaching the German language and I am currently teaching it at JC level.
I lived in France, Belgium and Germany and I hold an Honours degree from the Sorbonne-Nouvelle in Paris (Applied Languages-French, English and German).
I have been giving French lessons for over 15 years and I have helped numerous students improve their language skills and achieve their desired grades in both the JC and LC Exams.
My lessons cover all aspects of the language: oral practice, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and written production.
My lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary acquisition, expressions and idioms, oral and written pieces.
All lessons are tailored to the individual students’ needs so let me know the areas you need to work on in our first online lesson.
I strongly believe that any student can improve their language skills with motivation, interaction, regular practice and oral and written revisions.
All lessons are taught online via Google Meet. Rate: €35 an hour, Flexible Times.

- Mar 2024 Paul Tormey We have been using Natalie for over 6 months to help with Leaving cert French preparation We find her very professional and organised. - Mar 2024 rachel hennessy I am a sixth year student doing the leaving cert. Nathalie and I worked on my oral skills my written exam skills and she helped further my understanding of tenses as well as teaching me new vocabulary. It has helped greatly with my French ability
- Feb 2024 Mamohapi Byrne Nathalie started teaching my son Leaving Cert French late 2023. She set up very structured classes to support my Son’s learning. She has also shown flexibility to fit in extra classes to support the mocks. Since December, my son’s confidence to express himself in French , both aural and written, has improved noticeably. - Feb 2024 Sinead Cullen Nathalie is a wonderful French tutor for my son who is doing his leaving cert this year. She has been doing great work with him for the past few months, concentrating on the orals and aurals in French.
- Feb 2024 Christina Nathalie is a great French tutor who communicates topics with me throughout our lessons clearly. Nathalie also makes useful notes in the lesson which she sends after for me to revise the topics we covered. I am a student doing the JC and i wasn't present for first year, Nathalie has helped me catch up and achieve high results in French by working on my grammar, writing blogs and listening skills. as well as reading through comprehensions with me to make sure i understand them.
- Jun 2023 ANTHONY ROONEY My son Eoin is a JC student, Nathalie provided French grinds for a number of months on line, focused on Listening and worked a bit on French Writing. They also revised Vocabulary and Grammar. Nathalie was absolutely a great teacher. Very knowledgeable, great way of teaching, reassuring to Eoin and also flexible to change approach to prioritize what needed to be learned by Eoin next. Nathalie has been working with Aoife on Listening, Reading Comprehension, Writing and revising Vocabulary and Grammar.
