Tutor Bio
Hi there! My name is Órla and I am an experienced English and History tutor. I'm currently in my final year of my BA in UCD in these subjects, and I have been giving grinds since my first year. I work really well with young people (as a young person myself) and my aim is always to make learning as enjoyable as possible for the student, as that is the only way the information will stick. - Dec 2022 Annette Orla gave my child English grinds for his junior cert. highly recommend her to anybody particularly if the teacher just isn’t getting through to their kid… mine struggled with shakespere and the poems especially and orla was very patient and thoughtful wit him. Hes after getting his results and is delighted. 5 stars. A.
- Dec 2022 Phil My son did LC History grinds with Órla last term and he felt so much more confident about his winter exams than he ever has before. She always made sure he left their lessons with a smile and she seems to have made history a lot less scary for him. Over the holidays we're going to Berlin and he's suddenly so excited to visit museums and go on walking tours when he never has been before. 10/10 tutor, thank you Órla!
