Hi!
My name is Ed and I have been a freelance tutor for over 4 years specialising in Chemistry, Physics and Maths. I find tutoring to be an incredibly rewarding profession, especially when my students reach the goals they have been working towards.
Over the last four years I have taught a wide age range of students Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Maths. From volunteering with university level nanotechnology students to primary school students in disadvantaged areas in Dublin, to helping university graduate students achieve their goal of entering Medical school in Ireland.
I believe that a core understanding of the learning materials is key to exam success and long-lasting knowledge of a subject. Memorization works temporarily but doesn’t lead to mastery of a subject. l enjoy using real world examples to explain difficult topics in order to keep lessons light, energetic and fun while doing exam papers along the way.
