Tutor Bio
I am currently offering Biology grinds in English/ Irish online. Each student receives a google drive folder where 'lectures' and homework are uploaded. I put an emphasis on exam preparation, and aim to link all information back to potential questions.
I also offer Irish Oral grinds. We work through preparing content for the oral, with a focus on practice orals coming closer to the exam time.
I am passionate about teaching. Education is a massive part of physiotherapy, which I have transferred over to teaching leaving cert grinds ! I have spent time with the educational charity Suas teaching English reading and writing in India and in parts of Dublin. I have a brother in Leaving cert year this year, which really has reminded me of the stresses students are under at the moment!
I’m a qualified Physiotherpist. I am currently a graduate medical student at UCD. I received an A1 in higher level Biology, Chemistry, and Irish (equivalent to H1) and I completed my leaving cert in Irish in a Gaelcholáiste with 580 points overall. I've been offering grinds since I left school, so remain uptodate with current standards.
I charge €40 an hour for online classes. Can offer cheaper rates for group classes.

- Dec 2022 Micahel Sorcha gave biology grinds through Irish to our son in leaving cert last year. Appreciated her patience and approach. Delighted to say he's 2 months into his course of choice now at university!
- Jul 2022 Eva Sorcha was a great support for my daughter Eva during her leaving cert this year. It is so difficult to find good Biology grinds let alone ones as Gaeilge. The notes were a great help, but Sorcha's patience, kindness and constant encouragement were what was so important to us!
