EXPERIENCE:
I have had experience over the years in giving one-to-one grinds. I was also a tutor for the UCC Mathematics Enrichment Programme for a number of years. More recently, I was tutoring for college-level Maths and Statistics with a large group of students.
LOCATION/FLEXIBILITY:
I can only give grinds to students around Cork City (I live around the Bishopstown/Model Farm Road area), either in the student’s home or somewhere on the UCC campus.
My schedule is dependent on my college timetable, but I will always do my best to make time and allowances for the student’s own schedule. I can do evenings and weekends (subject to availability).
MY APPROACH TO THE GRINDS:
As an honours student, I always make sure that I understand the intuition and processes behind any concept, no matter how abstract. My focus would be to ensure that the student understands the concepts in the JC and LC Maths.
I can also help the student during the week by answering any questions they might have.
